Thank You For Your Support.
Without your support, we wouldn't be where we are today.
When Covid shut down the MRAC gallery, we adapted to the new challenges by offering Virtual Art & Poetry shows here on our website. Through these virtual online efforts we were able to continue our mission of "Artists Bringing People Together."
Going forward we hope to once again bring monthly gatherings of artists, writer/poets and the community to share live cultural events. That is why we are asking you to help us continue our vision with a donation today.
Your generous donations are both needed, and much appreciated. We appreciate your consideration.

MRAC offers three exciting programs for individuals to develop their creative capabilities.
Classes
(ON HOLD DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS!)
Exhibitions at MRAC include monthly ART & POETRY shows. We open with the year with our Annual Member's show and in July is our prestigious juried show. Throughout the year, we feature MRAC member’s artwork via “The MRAC Member’s Wall Virtual Online Art Gallery.”
Humanities at MRAC include monthly poetry readings following the gallery openings as well as many other dramatic readings and workshops. Peter Krok, the editor of the Schuylkill Valley Journal, leads the humanities department. Mike Muir leads our Performing Arts events.
Classes at MRAC span from fundamental drawing, sketching, and painting to clay and fibers and everything in between. Each season we announce our summer, fall, winter & spring curriculum , in addition to Yoga and Craft Workshops featuring several Philly artists. Learn more then register today!
The Manayunk-Roxborough Art Center (MRAC) is an active arts & humanities organization, housed in a historic carriage house in the Roxborough neighborhood of Philadelphia.
The Manayunk-Roxborough Art Center is managed and operated 100% by volunteers.
We do not have paid employees. We do not charge an admission to exhibits or literary events.
Our classes are offered at low rates in order to be as inclusive as possible.
Since 1953 we have worked tirelessly to bring cultural events to our surrounding communities and the greater Philadelphia area.
MRAC is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) corporation.
We are supported by grant from the Philadelphia Cultural Fund and donations from visitors and members.
