Volunteering
MRAC depends on volunteers for its operations in the major program areas: exhibitions, studio curriculum and humanities. There are volunteer opportunities for all artistic interests and all ages. MRAC’s needs range from painting the gallery to hosting an opening, or from stuffing envelopes to greeting visitors. Tribute/Memorial Gift
A Tribute or Memorial Gift is an expression of love and respect in the name of a special person which is placed in the fund of your choice. A Tribute or Memorial Gift may sponsor a special program or provide scholarships for children in financial need.
Gift for the Capital Improvement Program
MRAC is located in a two story refurbished nineteenth century brick stable with attached garages. Current plans for improvement and expansion include creating a sculpture studio and office space, and installing central air conditioning. A capital improvement gift will ensure MRAC’s continued growth and delivery of quality programs that meet the evolving needs of the community.
Gifts by Will
Gifts by Will provide MRAC with a lasting legacy which can be tailored according to the wishes and needs of the donor. If you would like to explore the options of making a Gift by Will, MRAC will arrange for a volunteer attorney to assist you.
Artwork Reproduction Rights
An artist may donate his or her right of reproduction to an original piece of artwork to MRAC. Such a donation will allow MRAC to copy the artwork for use in promotions including posters and on the web site. If you would like to donate reproduction rights, MRAC will arrange for a volunteer attorney to assist you in evaluating this option.
